Submit proof of enrollment (student ID, transcript, or letter from your school).
Absolutely. Film students at every level are welcome. Our thoughts are if you made the film as a student you deserve some extra credit!

Sorry, no. Entry fees help us keep the lights on, but we’ll always share discount codes when we can.

Judging & Notifications

Every entry is reviewed by multiple jury members in a blind process, when possible. We’re looking for "a good story, well told" with an eye out for originality, craft, and heart — not big budgets or big names. Bonus points for our Texas filmmakers and global perspectives.

We have a rotating group of cinefiles, industry professionals, WorldFest award-winners and festival staff/volunteers. If you're interested serving on the jury, apply here.
