Master Classes:

WorldFest-Houston presents a series of 9 film Professional Production Master Classes on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday at 10am, 1pm and 3pm at The Westin Hotel Memorial City. 

On Saturday is a special Indie Filmmakers Forum that brings together a diverse panel of ten attending Independent film producer or directors.  This is an important panel seminar moderated by an Remi Award Winning Director with an extensive Q&A session that probes into all the facets of producing and directing an independent feature film premiering at the festival. The award-winning filmmakers will share their experiences on how they completed their film.

 

Scholarships:

Break-out Sessions for High Schoolers: We also offer seminars to our local Houston high schoolers prior to the professional industry master classes. They are Thursday at 9AM & Friday at 9AM.

Previous classes have included: A Career in Filmmaking 101 taught by owner of FLMC Films & producer, Erik Calderon & Living and Working as a Filmmaker taught by local filmmaker and film instructor, Jenny Waldo.
